reSources: Saving Living Systems

From Appalachia to Africa, Navajo nations to Tibetan villages, water sources have sustained human life and deep cultural traditions for centuries. As these waters dry up, so do entire communities, along with their traditions, culture, and ways of life. ‘reSources: Saving Living Systems’ is a Keepers of the Waters project that documents this irreplaceable resource and to insure the continued survival of the waters.

The mission of Keepers of the Waters is to inspire and promote projects that combine art, science and community involvement to restore, preserve and remediate water sources. Keepers of the Waters is on the vanguard of ecological water design, grassroots organizing and public art. We are diverse, creative, positive, and committed to creating sustainable urban landscapes where communities can reclaim their water sources.
